From the Beginning
The year was 1951. The economy was booming, the community was growing, and Money One Federal Credit Union got its start. All thanks to a handful of forward-thinking individuals who saw the need for better financial products and services that anyone could afford.
Making Dreams a Reality
Today, Money One has over 12-thousand members who command nearly $131-million dollars in combined savings. To ensure that money is well managed, the credit union is led by an unpaid, volunteer board of directors who identify as Money One members first and decision makers second.
See, Money One is a member-owned financial cooperative. That means our only reason for being is our members. The money you save at the credit union allows us to lend money to local families. They then use that money to buy cars, finance homes, and be their financial best.
Individualized Products and Services
We know a thing or two about money. After all, it’s what we do. Because we’re a not-for-profit financial institution, all excess profits go right back into the credit union to lower rates, improve products, and add convenience to your life – that includes providing products and services tailored to your needs.
What does that mean? Let’s say you want to buy a used vehicle, but it’s being sold for more than it’s worth on paper. At Money One, we’re happy to lend you the money you need – especially if we both know the car is worth every penny. That kind of individualized attention goes for home loans and checking accounts, online banking support, as well as small business advice.
Dedicated Professionals and Friends
At Money One, our mission is to help dreams become reality, provide individualized products and services, and service our members with a dedicated staff. Those employees are what make Money One more than an affordable place to do your banking – it makes it a friendly place to get advice and make sound financial decisions that can have a lasting, positive effect.
Most of our employees live in the same communities you do. Their kids go to the same schools. They attend the same churches. They shop at the same stores. Our point? We’re your friends and neighbors. When you succeed, so do we. At Money One, we’re here to stay. We’re here to help. We’re here to be a part of your financial hopes and dreams.
